Kia Forte being a Korean made car definitely will be more expensive than local made Proton or Perodua as well as Japanese made cars.

Other issue you will need to consider is the fast drop in its resale value.

A plus point is Kia Forte doesn't give major headache to its user perhaps only affected by the low demand for this car in the second hand market.
